Perm Choir “Mlada” is a well-known in Russia and Europe youth group of high professional level with more than 30 years of history, winner of international European competitions, winner of the open international music competition of performers “Moscow Spring A Cappella” (Moscow City Government Project), headliner of the international festival “Ural Music Night” (Yekaterinburg), cultural brand of Perm and the Perm Region.

The concert program “From Folk to Jazz” in the performance of the Perm Choir “Mlada” is the demonstration of a wide range of diverse possibilities of the choir, performing music of any genres and directions.

In the first part of the concert you will hear works of Russian and foreign sacred music, choral scores of modern composers, arrangements of folk music, as well as examples of Russian opera classics.

The second part of the concert is devoted to Russian song classics of the Soviet period, a unique musical and poetic genre of the XX century. All compositions are performed in exclusive choral arrangements.
